Minnesota State Fair finds!!

So I went to the Minnesota State Fair this weekend. I decided to look at all the jewelry to maybe get some ideas and see how overpriced everything was. Well I run into this little booth and there is a fellow in a wheelchair wearing glasses with ornaments on them. I start looking at his things and quickly see this butterfly that I love. He told me I could get three of them for $15. So as I look around I find a cross, it had a pin on the back, so I asked if he thought I would be able to pull it off. He told me he had ones without a back then asked if I was a jewelry maker. I said I was and he began to tell me about how he hand makes all these items and sells them for wholesale and to go ahead and use his things in my jewelry. I asked for a card and got his contact number so I can buy some more things as needed. On the way out I see all his news ads on the outside of the booth. He is a Para Olympian and creates a lot of his ornaments from recycled materials! I just love it; this was such a cool guy to run into. The pendant is so lightweight, unique and beautiful; I can’t wait to make some items!!
