As requested the resin creations!

So, my original plan was to make a pendant that could be worn. I soon realized that if I wanted the entire leaf I would need to make it a lot larger than a pendant. I started with the larger leaf. When the project dried I just looked at it and thought "well, now what" but the more I held it, and thought about it, I started to think it looked like something else! A coaster!! So I decided to try it with the decorative grass, I wanted to see if it would all stay puffy and sure enough it did! My daughter brought me in a bunch of leaves and flowers to try as well. She calls the one on the left my "rainbow" leaf! I think the whole coaster idea is pretty cool. I now know I can take live plants and forever save them in resin! I am excited! I think I am going to make my father in law a set for Christmas using parts from beer cans!! I figured he can use them in his ice fishing shack this winter! If anyone is interested in anything like this let me know!
